It was a great opportunity to exhibit my work in the cabinets at All Saints Library in Manchester.
With the help of Stephanie Boydell from special collections, we arranged with Jane Fowler the archivist at the Laban Archive an inter library loan. I collected 3 models from the archive in London to show along my own work. Publications and books relating to Laban's work were also sent across from the Crewe Library. The experience of setting up and preparing for the exhibition was extremely useful in planning where each piece would go. Being flexible and adapting the plan at the last minute, because of issues with security and having to put the loan models together in a secure cabinet. There was an excellant response from colleagues and library staff, and a great experience for my first solo exhibition.
